RRB ASM Selection Process 2022

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recruits qualified individuals for Assistant Station Manager posts in different zones of the country. The candidates have to successfully clear the RRB ASM examination to get selected for the posts. The Railways is accepting applications only through online mode. The selection process for RRB Assistant Station Master will be held in four stages namely – First stage CBT, Second Stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test and lastly Document Verification. RRB ASM Selection Process 2022– Overview

RRB ASM First Stage CBT

The first stage CBT will have questions on different subjects like Math, Reasoning, and Current Affairs. The total number of questions is 100 and the time duration is 90 minutes. The questions will be MCQ pattern.

RRB ASM Second Stage CBT

The Second Stage CBT will have questions from subjects like Mathematics, Reasoning, and Current Affairs. The total number of questions is 120 and the time duration is 90 minutes. The questions will be MCQ pattern.

RRB ASM Computer Based Aptitude Test

• Computer-Based Aptitude Test is held for Station Master and Traffic Assistant posts, while other posts under NTPSC have to take Typing skill test.
• The shortlisting for Computer-based Aptitude Test and is 8 times the number of vacancies based on the merit of CBT Second Stage.
• The candidates need to score at least T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify.
• This rule applies to all candidates irrespective of community or category and no relaxation in the minimum T- Score is allowed.
• The CBAT will be only in English and Hindi. No other language will be permitted.
• Computer Based Aptitude test will have no negative marking.
• Merit list candidates will be drawn only from the ones qualifying in the CBAT, with 70% importance for the marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT and 30% importance for the marks obtained in CBAT.

RRB ASM Document Verification

After qualifying all the rounds, the candidates have to submit documents for verification. List of documents is mentioned below –

• Admit Card and original ID proof for entry
• Date of Birth proof
• Education qualification mark sheet (10th/12th/Graduation)
• Caste Certificates (SC/ST/OBC)
• Minority Community Declaration (Annexure-V)
• Income Certificate – Annexure-IV
• PWD Proof Certificates
• Ex-Servicemen Certificates (if applicable)
• NOC(No Objection Certificate) for Government job in another department
• 12 Passport size photographs
