CISF Assistant Sub Inspector 2022 Vacancy
1: In a certain code language, ‘ROK’ is written as ‘44’ and ‘MIG’ is written as ‘29’. What will be the code for ‘TAL’ in that code language?
According to the notification published by CISF, there are a total of 647 vacancies for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease by the time of final selection. Zone wise or state wise list of vacancies have not been released yet. So the applicants should be prepared to be posted anywhere in India. The CISF has reserved a certain number of post for certain categories. The reservations are as follows:
- Unreserved Category (UR) – 502 posts
- Scheduled Class (SC) – 97 posts
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 48 posts
There are no separate reservations for Other Backward Classes (OBC). Applicants belonging to this category can apply in the general category.
All applications must be submitted offline. CISF has discontinued acceptance of online applications. Application forms should be duly filled and submitted to their respective DIsG (Application Receiving Centers).

CISF Assistant Sub Inspector 2022 Eligibility
CISF has set certain standards for the recruitment of personnel for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. Only those applicants who satisfy all the eligibility criteria laid down by the CISF will be considered for the selection process. All applications that do not meet any one of the criteria set by the CISF will be subject to rejection. Applicants are therefore required to go through the eligibility criteria in detail to know whether they are fit for the post.

Age requirement: Applicants should be 35 years of age as on 1 August, 2021 which means that the applicant should not be born before 2 August, 1986. There is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Bachelors degree from any recognized university.
Work Experience: All applicants should ensure that they have completed five years of service including basic training in the grade or five years combined regular service as Head Constable / GD, Constable / GD and Constable / Tradesmen (TM) as on 1 August,2021. Only those applicants who have joined the force before 31 July, 2016 will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector.
Clean Record: Applicants aspiring to apply for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector should have good ACRs for the past five years. They should have an unblemished service record until they join the post of ASI on appointment.
Physical Standards: CISF has a set of recorded measurements regarding height, chest width and weight of the applicants. The standards are different for male and female candidates. Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) and some other categories are eligible for relaxation in physical standards. All applicants will have to undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST). If any candidate does not meet the requirement, he / she will be disqualified.
Medical Standards: Applicants must satisfy all the medical requirements set by the CISF. Candidates will be assessed on physical deformities, eye sight and physical and mental wellness.
