Holi Festival in India: History and Myth

As the fire raged, Holika perished, but Prahlada escaped. Vishnu came at dusk, disemboweled the king, and killed him with his lion claws. It is considered the myth behind the Holi celebration. Also, the day celebrates the eternal and divine love of god Radha Krishna.
