Every year Andra Pradesh PSC invites applications from graduates towards the Group-2 Services. Group-2 services have 27 different posts across the state departments. Through APPSC Group-2 services PSC selects eligible candidates to Deputy Thalsidar posts to Department Heads Assistant posts. The services itself has two sets of posts: Executive posts, and Non-executive posts. While the selection pattern remains the same for both sets, the cut-off scores vary. Every year the cut-off scores vary depending upon on the no of candidates, exam level and vacancy. But the minimum qualifying marks remains the same till further notice from the PSC.

Due to the Pandemic lockdown, the Andhra Pradesh PSC postpones the APPSC Group-2 mains examination. The expected cut-off scores for the APPSC group-2 posts are:
- For Executive Posts: 310+ (for all communities)
- Non-executive Posts: 280+,
- For Posts with computer qualification required: 275+ depends
This is a tentative cut-off score based on the previous year trends, and it may vary depending upon the difficulty level.
