CTET Vs State-wise TET
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted twice a year by the CBSE, Delhi, as per instruction and responsibility entrusted by the National Ministry of Human Resource Development. And, CTET certificate is accepted all over the country and will be admitted to the central government-run schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, etc. While the State-wise will be conducted by the state-bodies to recruit candidates to state-govt. schools of the respective state.
CTET has been held in around 20 Indian languages. However, the TET examination will be conducted in the state language and aspirants should be fluent in the state/ domicile language, for which they appear.
It is importantly noted that the CTET certificate is valid in all states. But the State TET exams will allow candidates to work only in the particular state.

- Complete the Registration by providing the required details.
- Save the application number and password.
- Now, login and complete the application form, upload the documents (photographs and signature), qualification details, etc.
- Complete the online fee payment and finally verify and submit.

TET State wise Eligibility Criteria 2022
Paper I Educational Criteria
- Pass in Senior Secondary Exam or any equivalent exam with 50% of marks and also those who have passed or appearing or in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Pass in Senior Secondary Exam or equivalent exam with 50% marks and passed or appearing or in the final year of 4 years in Bachelors of Elementary Education.
- Pass in graduation and passed or appearing for the final year of the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Paper-II Educational Criteria
- Pass in graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.
- Pass in Graduation with at least 50% of marks and are appearing or have passed the 1st year of B.Ed.
- Pass in Senior Secondary Exam with 50% and those who have passed or appearing for the final year of B.EI.Ed is eligible.
- Those who passed in or appearing for the final year of 4 years integrated course BA, B.ED, B.Sc, B.Ed, or any other equivalent course can apply for this part.

TET Number of Attempts and Certificate Validity
There is no such restricted number of attempts for both the CTET or the State-wise list of TET exams. Aspirants can attempt TET as many as possible till they acquire the certificate. The validity period such as CTET or TET exam certificate after qualifying will be for a maximum of seven years for all categories. However, according to the latest announcements, CTET certificate validity is extended to a lifetime. More information regarding this will be added soon!
