Educational Qualification

Candidates who wish to apply for RPSF SI exam 2022 must be a graduate in any stream, from a recognized university or board.

Age Criteria

Minimum age required to apply for the RPSF SI 2022 exam is 20 years and maximum age limit is 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Check the details given below to get an idea about the relaxation in age.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST group : 5 years
• OBC ; Non – Creamy layer candidates : 5 years
• Ex – servicemen candidates belonging to unreserved categories : 3 years
• Ex – servicemen candidates belonging to OBC : non – creamy layer : 6 years
• Ex – servicemen candidates belonging to SC/ ST category : 8 years
• Widows, Divorced women, Judicially separated women belonging to,

1. Unreserved categories : 2 years
2. OBC : Non – Creamy layer : 5 years
3. SC / ST category : 7 years

RPSF SI 2022 Selection Process

Cracking RPSF SI test and becoming an officer in the Indian Railways is a hard row to hoe, bot not impossible as well. To become an armed officer and ensure the safety of the Indian Railways and its passengers, candidates must pass all the 4 levels of test. They are given here,

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Document Verification (DV)

In the Computer Based Test, a total of 120 questions will be asked. Candidates must complete the test within 90 minutes or 1.5 hours. Candidates must choose the answers wisely since there will be negative marking. 1/3 marks of the total marks per question will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates can check the above mentioned table to get an idea about physical fitness test. After successful completion of these tests, candidates will be subjected for document verification. Candidates must carry all the original documents along with their copies that are required for verification. In case of absence of original documents, make sure to inform the authorities before hand or will result in cancellation of your candidature.
