In the light of pandemic, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to allow the facility of change of examination centres to candidates of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2018 (Skill Test) scheduled on December 18 and 19, 2020. Candidates can now change their SSC CGL 2018 Skill Test centre to their nearest centre to avoid the travel hassle from November 30, 2020, onwards.

SSC CGL Skill Test Exam Centre Change
The commission will conduct the skill test for posts like:
- Assistant Section Officer (CSS),
- Assistant Section Officer (MEA)
- Inspector (Examiner)
- Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under M/o Corporate Affairs,
- Inspector (Central Excise)
- Inspector (Preventive Officer)
- Assistant (GSI) in Ministry of Mines
- Tax Assistant (Central Excise & Income Tax)
This Skill Test/ Typing Test will be of qualifying nature, and no candidate is exempted from appearing in the Skill Test. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has now opened the window for modifying exam centre preferences for the candidates of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2018 skill test centres. Candidates will be able to change their exam city preferences from November 30, onwards by login in using their registration number and password/ date of birth on the official website.
How to change the CGL Skill Test Centre?
- Visit the SSC official website, Click Here
- Login to your SSC Application portal using your registration number and date of birth. You can find these details in your registered email inbox.
- Under the “Latest Notifications” tab, you can find the “Modify Examination Center Preferences”.
- Click on the “Modify Examination Centre Preferences” tab.
- Select “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2018” as the Examination name, and enter your Registration number, and click on ‘Submit’.
- On the newly opened tab, select your preferred exam cities according to your choice.
- Click the save button to validate the changes.
- SSC will publish the Fresh SSC CGL 2018 Skill Test admit cards by December second week.
- The window to change the exam centres will be available from November 30 onwards.
- The Skill Test is scheduled for December 2020.
