UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates who wish to apply for the UPPSC Assistant Engineer post should meet some minimum eligibility requirements. Let discuss more concerning the age limit and the educational requirements.
UPPSC AE Age Limit
Candidates having a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 40 Years can apply for the Assistant Engineer post under UPPSC.
Age Relaxation
Relaxation in the upper age limit can be availed by the eligible candidates by providing the essential certificates. Check the upper age relaxation for various categories:
- Scheduled Castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of U.P. of Classified Games, State Govt. Employees of U.P. including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and Teachers/Staff of the Government Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P – 5 years
- Physically handicapped persons of U.P – 15 years
- Group- ‘B’ posts for the Emergency Commissioned Officers/ Short Service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army Personnel’s of U.P. who have rendered five years’ service in Army, but there shall be no reservation for Group- ‘B’ posts – 5 years

Note:
For all posts, it is preferred to have candidates who served for a minimum of 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.
