UPPSC Staff Nurse Apply Online

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC)  has currently extended the last date for submitting the online applications for recruitment to the said post of Staff Nurse/Sister Grade-2 till 3rd September 2021. Those who have not yet submitted the online applications can complete their application process before the closure of the applications window. The online applications had started from 16th August 2021 on the official portal of UPPSC.i.e.uppsc.up.ni.in. Earlier, the last date to submit the application was 16th August 2021.

How to Apply for UPPSC Staff Nurse Online 2021?

Eligible and interested candidates may, however, apply for the post of UPPSC Staff Nurse 2021 recruitment via the official web portal from 16 July to 16 August 2021, extended up to 3rd September. The application procedure is completed by the payment of the application fees.

• For General/ EBC/ OBC: Rs.125/- (Exam fee : Rs.100 + Online Processing Fee: Rs.25)
• For SC/ST/ Ex-Serviceman: Rs.65/- (Exam fee: Rs.40 + Online Processing Fee: Rs.25)

Eligibility Criteria for UPPSC Staff Nurse Posts

Educational Qualification: 

1. Staff Nurse Male (Medical and Health Services Dept, Medical Education and Training Department) – An applicant for the direct recruitment to the post of Staff Nurse (Male) must have the following criteria:

(i) Should pass High School Examination with the main subject as Science and passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an Examination recognised by the Government as equivalent thereof.

 (ii) Candidates should possess a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc Degree in Nursing which is registrable with the U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council OR should possess a diploma in Psychiatry which is registrable with the U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council.

 (iii) should possess a registration certificate from the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Psychiatry OR possess a registration certificate as Nurse & Midwives From the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council.

2. Staff Nurse Female (Medical and Health Services Dept, Medical Education and Training Dept) – An applicant for the direct recruitment to the post of Staff Nurse(Female) must meet the following criteria:

(i) Have passed High School Exam with the main subject as Science and passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an Examination recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.

 (ii) Possess a diploma in General Nursing & midwifery or a B.Sc Degree in Nursing which is registrable with the U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council.

 (iii) Possess a registration certificate as Nurse and Midwife from the U.P Nurses and Midwives Council.

3. Sister Grade 2- Diploma in General Nursing & midwifery from an institute which is recognised or equivalent qualification for male Nurse. Priority to those candidates having 3 years experience in a large hospital or Medical College. Also the B.Sc. Nursing Should be of a registered “A” Grade Nurse and Midwife along with a State Nursing Council or equivalent Qualification for male nurses.

UPPSC Staff Nurse Selection Process

The U.P. Public Service Commission organises a Written Examination which is of Objective Type at various centres of the districts for the selection of suitable candidates for the posts of Staff Nurse/Sister Grade-2 (Male/Female).

The selection will be basically made as per the merit prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the Examination along with additional marks in accordance with the provision of Rule-15(3)(b)  according to the U.P. subordinate “Nursing (Non-Gazetted) Service (Fourth Amendment) Rules-2016.” The Centre of Exam, decided by the Commission, will be intimated to the aspirants by means of their e-Admission Certificate. The no. of Districts/centres may be increased or decreased according to the decision of the Commission on the basis of the final number of applications received.
