A total of 3012 vacancies are available of which 2671 posts are reserved for Female Candidates and 341 posts are reserved for Male Candidates. UPPSC Staff Nurse Selection Process

The U.P. Public Service Commission will organise a Written Examination of the Objective Type at various centres of the Districts for the selection of eligible and suitable candidates for the posts of Staff Nurse/Sister Grade-2 (Male/Female).

The selection will be done as per the Merit prepared on the basis of total marks scored by the candidates in the said Examination along with additional marks as per the provision of Rule-15(3)(b) in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh subordinate “Nursing (Non-Gazetted) Service (Fourth Amendment) Rules-2016.” The Centre of Examination, as decided by the Commission, will be intimated to the applicants by means of their e-Admission Certificate. There will be an increase/decrease in the no. of Districts/centres according to the decision of the Commission on the basis of the final number of applications received.
