TET Exam(Teachers Eligibility Test) is conducted by Central as well as State Governments to recruit eligible candidates for the post of teachers in Central and State level schools.
Usually, TET Exam is conducted for 3 different posts

TET Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum percentage of 45% from a recognized university
- Holder of a valid education or elementary education degrees such as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed).

Salary & Allowances
TET teachers have a pay scale of Rs.9,300/–Rs.34,800/-. There may be a slight variation in the pay scale depending on the state Governments. Allowances are also provided. A candidate selected may have a number of opportunities for career growth and promotion through internal promotion and other departmental examinations.
