SSC CGL Tier 2 exam programme has kickstarted. Through the SSC CGL 2019 recruitment, the commission is selecting candidates towards 34 different posts across the central services. This Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) will fill up various Group “B” and Group “C” posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. So far the commission has updated 8582 vacant posts against the 2019 recruitment notification. The major vacancies are with the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Custom (CBIC) which counts 2,159 positions.
The candidates who will qualify this Tier-2 exam will appear for the Tier 3 which will be held in pen-and-paper mode. Now the commission successfully conducted the stage-2 of the recruitment process. Across India, nearly 1.5 lakh candidates have been shortlisted to attempt the SSC CGL Tier 2 exams. The Tier-2 tests were conducted from November 15, 2020, onwards till November 18 across the country in various shifts. SSC CGL 2020 Exam Analysis: Tier 2 Day 1
The candidates who have appeared on November 15, 2020 (Day-1) rated the paper as moderate and was similar to 2018 exam. The quantitative aptitude section as moderate, with a combination of a good mix of arithmetic and advanced mathematics questions. On the other hand, the English paper was much easier than the maths section. In language paper (English), the questions were mainly asked on direct/ indirect tenses and active/ passive voices.

- ABC is a triangle in which ∠CAB = 80° and ∠ABC = 50°, AE, BF and CD are the altitudes and O is the orthocenter. What is the value of ∠AOB?
- ABC is a right angle triangle ∠B = 90° and BD is the median. O is the centroid of the triangle. Find the length of OB if AB = 9 cm and AC = 41 cm.
- A shopkeeper earns no profit or no loss on the sale of two articles. If the S.P. of the two articles were the same. And he earned 16(⅔)% profit on the sale of one article then and the profit/loss of the sale of another article. What would be his combined profit/ loss percentage?
- Area of three adjacent faces of a cuboid is 3, 12 and 16 unit² respectively. Find Volume of the cube.
- ∆ABC is drawn to circumscribe a circle of radius 4 cm such that the segment BD and DC into which BC is divided by point of contact D are of length 8 cm and 6 cm respectively. Find sides AB and AC?
