Table of Contents
The University Grants Commission (UGC) was founded on the 28th of December, in the year 1953. It is a statutory organization of the Government of India. It works for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of teaching, examination and research in university education.
The UGC NET is conducted two times a year by NTA (National Testing Agency). The first is in June and the next in December. The UGC NET Exam is mainly for the candidates who are looking for an Assistant Professor job in Indian Universities and Colleges after their post-graduation. Candidates who are capable of scoring high marks will be considered eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (provided they have passed the necessary cut-off).

Exam Pattern UGC NET Commerce Exam 2022
The UGC NET exam pattern consists of paper 1 and paper 2. There are 150 objective questions in total. The details of both papers and their marks are given in the following table. The time allotted for the exam is 3 hours
