- For Group ‘B’ Gazetted posts, ex-servicemen, including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/ SSCOs, who have given at least 5 years Military Service as of the closing date of receipt of applications and have been discharged, age relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years.
- Ex-servicemen who have previously gained regular work in the civil sector under the government in Group C and D posts by taking advantage of the benefits of ex-service men’s reservation are not eligible for ESM category reservation or fee concession. - RBI conducts a language proficiency exam for the people who qualify for the main exam for the post of Assistant.
- SSC CGL Tier-I and Tier-II tests have questions of the type Multiple choice and Objective. The questions medium can be English or Hindi except for English Comprehension passages. A negative 0.50 mark is awarded for every incorrect answer
- In Tier- 2 examination, a negative 0.25 mark is awarded for every incorrect answer in Paper-2 (English Language and Comprehension) and a negative 0.50 mark for each incorrect answer in Paper-1, Paper-3 & Paper-4.
- Paper-1 and Paper-2 are obligatory for all the posts described above. Paper-3 is assigned for the candidates who have applied for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs). Paper-IV will be compulsory only for those aspirants who are selected after Tier-I for appearing for the Paper-IV exam i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
