Educational Qualification

Candidates should have SSLC, 10th or equivalent from any recognized school or university

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the exam must be between 18 and 25 years ( both age included). Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Widows, Ex – servicemen etc.. can avail age relaxation as per the rules set forth by the Government of India. Those candidates claiming for age relaxation are required to provide documents supporting their claim upon demand by the Board. RPF Constable Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates who wish to apply for RPF Constable examination 2025 must have a clear idea about the exam pattern. There are 4 levels in this exam and candidates are required to pass all these 4 stages to win the Constable position at Indian Railways. Check the details given here to get an idea about RPF Constable exam pattern 2025. The 4 levels of RPF Constable test 2025 are,

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Physical Measurement Test
3. Physical Efficiency Test
4. Document Verification

The first phase of RPF Constable exam 2024 is Computer Based online Test or CBT. A total of 120 questions will be asked from subjects like General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning and the  maximum marks of this level is 150.

Correct answers get 1 mark and for every incorrect answer, 1/3 of total marks per question will be deducted. Candidates must be extra careful while choosing the answers since there will be penalty for wrong answers. The maximum duration of CBT is 90 minutes or 1.5 hours. Candidates are required to finish the test within time. The questions asked for the test will be based on Class X level. With a perfect study plan and preparations, acing the CBT of RPF Constable 2024 exam is very simple.

Physical Efficiency Test Details 

Candidates clearing CBT will be subjected to Physical Measurement Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test and Document Verification. PMT eligibility requirements are in the table given under Eligibility Criteria. Shortlisted candidates from 3rd level of selection process are required to bring the original certificates for Document Verification. In case of absence of any documents, candidates must report it to the higher officials before the date of document verification. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

A total of 4660 vacancies are released for the Railway RPF 2025 exam, out of which 4208 are for Constable and 452 are for Sub Inspector. 15% of vacancies are reserved for women for each post. Interested candidates can start applying for RPF Constable 2024 examination once the online portal is opened for registration. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam can register themselves at the official Zonal website. Applicants are required to have all the necessary documents like photograph, ID proof, Signature, etc.. for uploading in the application form. Candidates belonging to General category are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee. OBC/ SC/ ST/ Women/ Ex- Servicemen/ EWS etc.. will have to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee.
