UPPSC PCS Study Plan 2021

The commission has proposed a three-stage recruitment process, namely, prelims, mains and an interview. The decision of the commission is rendered as final. Prelims Exam Pattern
The preliminary examination will be of Pen and paper mode offline examination. Multiple choice questions will be asked. Two sessions will be there for the examination 2021, paper 1 and paper 2. The questions will be asked for 200 marks of which each question carries one mark. Negative marking will be there. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer, so, the candidates should be more careful while handling the questions. The questions will be of objective type.
Main Exam Pattern
The UPPSC PCS mains examination will be of descriptive type. The examination will be of pen and paper mode offline examination. The main examination is more difficult than the prelims. So, candidates are advised to pay extra attention to the main paper. Essay type answers are expected from the candidates. The upcoming UPPSC PCS examination 2021 will be prolonged for one week. The exams will be conducted in two sessions, that is, the morning (9.30 to 12. 30 am) and the afternoon session (2 to 5 pm). The examination takes 3 hours to finish. The examination carries a total of 1500 marks.
