Table of Contents
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher’s Eligibility Test or APTET Exam consists of two papers i.e. Paper I & II. Candidates who want to teach I to V classes have to write Paper-I. Candidates who aspire to tech VI to VIII classes must write Paper-II. Finally, those candidates who are willing to teach all the classes from I to VIII must appear for both the papers, Paper I & II. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criterion to teach I to V Classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II). Given below are AP TET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2022.

AP TET Exam Pattern 2022
The exam pattern and scheme of examination of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) are given below. All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer is correct. There will be no negative marking. The Online Test Comprises Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper- I will be for aspirants who intend to teach for classes I to V. Paper-II will be for aspirants who intend to teach for classes VI to VIII. Aspirants who intend to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Paper 1
Contains 150 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question carries one mark. The time duration is 2 ½ hours. Structure and Marks Distribution of Paper-I (A) and (B) are given below.

The following are the minimum qualifying marks for the AP TET Exam for all the categories.

The Marks Certificate of AP TET shall be made available on the official website only. The candidate may attempt the exam any number of times to obtain the AP TET Certificate. A person who has qualified APTET may also appear again for the exam if wants to improve his percentage.
