DSSSB 2022 Salary
- Trained Graduate Teacher (Special Education Teacher) get paid Rs.9300 to Rs. 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600
- All Post Graduate Teachers get paid Rs.9300 to Rs. 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4800
DSSSB 2022 Eligibility Criteria
DSSSB has laid down certain criteria for the recruitment of teachers. Only those candidates who satisfy these criteria will be considered for selection. Aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying.
Educational Qualification
Trained Graduate Teacher (Special Education Teacher):
- Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. with two years Diploma in Special Education or Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education OR Any other equivalent qualification approved by Rehabilitation Council of India.
- Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.
PGT Music (Male):
MA (Music) or M (Music) of any recognized University OR Sangeet Alankar (M. Music) from All India Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal Bombay – 8 years OR Sangeet Kovid (M.Music) Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya,
Kheragarh – 8 years OR Sangeet Praveen (M.Music) the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad – 8 years OR
Sangeet Nipun (M.Music) the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow – 7 years OR Any degree which may be considered recognized by the body constituted by the University concerned.
PGT (Fine Arts/Painting) (Male):
Applicants should have any of the following qualification:
- Bachelor in Fine Art OR Higher Secondary*/ Intermediate/ Sr. School Certificate Examwith minimum 5 year (Full Time) diploma in Fine Art/ Painting/ Drawing & Painting from a recognized Institute/ University.
- Graduate with Drawing & Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years (Full Time) diploma from a recognized Institute/University.
- Master Degree in Fine Art/ Drawing & Painting with a minimum of 2 years (Full Time) diploma from a recognized Institute/University
PGT Urdu (Male and Female):
- Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University
- Degree / Diploma in training /Education.
PGT Horticulture:
- Master Degree in the subject concerned (Horticulture) from any recognized University.
- Degree/ Diploma in Training/ Education
PGT Psychology (Male and Female):
- Master Degree in the subject concerned (Pyschology) from any recognized University.
- Degree/ Diploma in Training/ Education.
PGT Computer Science (Male and Female):
B.E. or B. Tech (Computer Science/ IT) plus Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications or B or C Level Diploma from DOEACC, Ministry of Communications and IT plus One Year Teaching Experience OR M.Sc.(Computer Science)/ MCA plus One Year Teaching Experience OR Master of Engineering or M. Tech (Computer Science/ IT)
PGT Punjabi:
- Master’s Degree in the subject concerned (Punjabi) from any recognized University.
- Degree / Diploma in training / Education.
PGT Sanskrit:
- Master’s Degree ( or its equivalent Oriental Degree in the case of PGT Sanskrit/ Hindi) in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
- Degree / Diploma in training /Education
PGT English (Male and Female):
- Master’s Degree in the subject concerned (English) from any recognized University.
- Degree / Diploma in training /Education
Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselor (EVGC) (Male and Female):
Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized University or institution with Diploma in guidance & counseling from a recognized University or Institution.
Age Limit
The age limit for various posts will be as per the following criteria:
- TGT – Not exceeding 30 years
- PGT (Music, Fine Arts, Urdu, Horticulture, Psychology, Punjabi, Sanskrit) – Below 36 years
- PGT (Computer Science, English, EVGC) – Below 30 years

DSSSB Application Process
- Before submitting online applications, candidate must ensure that he/ she is registered on DSSSB’s portal – https://dsssbonline.nic.in/
- One time registration should be done by all applicants. A user ID and password will be generated after registration which should be used to log in whenever a candidate is applying for examinations of the posts notified by DSSSB.
- Applications should be submitted through online mode. Applicants should read the instructions carefully before applying.
- Before submission of the online application, candidates must check and ensure that they have filled correct details in each field of the form. Once online application form is submitted, no request for change/ correction/ modification (including change of category) will be entertained.
- Pay the application fee
- Take a print out of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee
A fee of Rs. 100 should be paid as application fee. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, P.W.D. & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying application fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
DSSSB Selection Process
The selection shall be made through One Tier / Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test wherever applicable. A written exam will be conducted for the recruitment of teachers. It will consist of Multiple choice questions for a total of 200 or 300 marks depending on the post. .25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. In Two Tier examinations, Tier I exam to be used for short listing only. Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Tier II Examination. The cut off mark for various categories is as follows:
General/EWS : 40%
OBC (Delhi) : 35%
SC/ST/PH (PwD) : 30%
Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.

DSSSB Syllabus 2020
The entire selection process consists of two exams ( Tier-1 and Tier-2) and a skill test depending on the post applied for. The syllabus for both Tier 1 and 2 are similar, but the difficulty level will be increased in the 2nd level. Here is the detailed syllabus for DSSSB:
