Table of Contents
Erstwhile All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is now renamed as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). For any undergraduate engineering programmes in Indian institutions like NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI), Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in class 12/ equivalent examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), JEE (Main). The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE. Among the candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2020, only the top 2.5% will get the chance to give the JEE Advanced 2020. Premier Indian engineering institutions like IITs, NITs, etc select the candidates from the JEE Advanced.

JEE Main April 2020
NTA conducts the JEE exam twice in a year to select the bright minds towards the engineering undergraduate programs. JEE Main exam is an eligibility test for the JEE Advanced exam. JEE exams are available in both online and offline mode. JEE Paper-01 is for engineering aspirants while Paper-02 is for architect students. Both exams are the objective type for 03 hours. This year onwards NTA will use normalisation concept to calculate percentile score.
