Station Fire Officer
- Minimum age limit – 20 years
- Maximum age limit – 30 years
The age specifications mentioned above are for all categories
Junior Inspector, Cooperative societies
- For the general category, the age limit is 18 years to 32 years
- For war service candidates who have completed training of nine months in the cooperative training institutes
- Relaxation in age is also applicable for this post
For SC/ ST, destitute widows of all categories
- Minimum age limit – 18 years
- Maximum age limit – 37 years
For Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (Other than Backward Class Muslims) and Backward Classes (Muslims)

- Maximum age limit – 34 years
For war service candidate and has undergone a course of training for nine months in one of the Co-operative Training Institute in the State and has passed Examination in Co-operation, Auditing, Banking and Book-keeping conducted by the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Union.

TNPSC Group 3 Application Fee
The ambitious contenders who were applying for the TNPSC Group 3 for various posts had to pay an application fee of Rs.150 as a part of the one-time registration process if they were first-time users. Those candidates who have already completed OTR needn’t pay this fee. To add on, a payment of Rs.150 towards the examination fee had to be paid by the candidates as per the previous recruitment notification. However, candidates belonging to the Reserved Category like the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disability (not lower than 40 %), and Destitute Widow categories were completely spared from any fee for any number of attempts as per the process of the previous recruitment notification.
