EPFO Assistant 2020 Eligibility
The EPFO has set certain eligibility criteria’s for candidates aspiring to apply for the post of EPFO Assistant examination. Aspiring candidates must ensure that the satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria’s set by EPFO before applying for the post of Assistant.
Nationality
The candidate must be either –
- a) a citizen of India or,
- b) a subject of Nepal, Bhutan or
- c) a Tibetian refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or,
- d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: Candidate belonging to categories (b), (c) & (d) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India.
Age Limit
- Those candidates who have attained an age of 20 years and must not be of 27 years of age as on the closing date for online registration of application are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates applying for the EPFO Assistant examination must possess a degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
