Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh. There is no fixed schedule for the conduct of the AP TET exam, hence the AP TET Exam Date will be known only when the exam conducting body announces it. Andhra Pradesh TET is the state level teacher’s eligibility test. It consists of two exams Paper I, and II (A, B). Paper- I is conducted for those candidates who wish to become teachers of classes I to V and Paper II is for the aspirants who want to teach classes VI to VIII. Notification of AP TET 2022 will be published at aptet.apcfss.in. Usually, the exam is conducted once every year. In the year 2018, it was held in the month of January and June. AP TET Important Exam Dates 2022
The AP TET will make the application link active on their official website, i.e. aptet.apcfss.in shortly after the release of official notification from the education department, AP. The application fee for each paper would be Rs. 500. Candidates are requested to fill in the application form online. Candidates will also have to upload their scanned photo and signature to the application form. Mobile number and email ID will also be asked for during the time of registration. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for AP TET 2022. AP TET Exam Pattern 2022
The exam pattern and scheme of examination of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) are given below. All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer is correct. There will be no negative marking. The Online Test Comprises Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper- I will be for aspirants who intend to teach for classes I to V. Paper-II will be for aspirants who intend to teach for classes VI to VIII. Aspirants who intend to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II). Contains 150 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question carries one mark. The time duration is 2 ½ hours. Structure and Marks Distribution of Paper-I is given below.

AP TET Exam Validity 2022
The AP TET Certificate will be issued once you qualify for this exam. This certificate will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue. Candidates can keep repeating the exam every year if they wish to improve their scores. Did you know that it is mandatory to qualify AP TET in order to become a teacher In all schools listed in Clause (n) of Section 2 of the RTE Act? The following schools are mentioned in the clause: “school” means any school recognized by the government imparting elementary education and includes –
- Any school established, owned or controlled by the Government or local authority;
- A school that is aided and is receiving aid to meet the whole or part of its expenses from the appropriate Government or the local authority;
- A school belonging to a specified category; and
- A school does not receive any kind of aid or grants to meet its expenses from any Government or the local authority.

AP TET issues admit cards around a week prior to the examination. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website of AP TET, aptet.apcfss.in. Candidates can log into their account with their registration ID, password and date of birth and download the admit card.
