NTA UGC NET Answer Key 2024
The final answer key for the UGC NET June session 2024 has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on October 12, 2024. This important document is now available on the official NTA website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Both the Provisional and Final Answer Keys are published and can be accessed in PDF format. Candidates can read and download both answer keys to check their answers and estimate their scores.
UGC NET Final Answer Key 2024 Out
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the UGC NET 2024 Final Answer Key. Candidates can now visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, to check and download the final answer key. The final answer key is now available after the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer keys in two phases and closed the objection window on September 14, 2024.
Key Examination Details:
- Examination Dates: The UGC NET June re-exam was conducted on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, 4, and 5.
- Examination Mode: The exam was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Objection Fee: Candidates were invited to submit objections by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question.
- Objection Window: The objection window closed on September 14, 2024.
Next Step: The NTA is expected to declare the UGC NET 2024 result soon, which will be based on the final answer key.
How to Download NTA UGC NET Answer key 2024?
- To check your response sheet, visit the NTA UGC official website, Click Here
- Log in to the application portal using your Application Number and Date of Birth and the Security Pin displayed and Submit.
- Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link “Click to view / Challenge Answer Key”.
- You will see Question IDs in sequential order.
- If you wish to challenge the provided answers, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs are given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
- After clicking your desired option, click on the ‘Save your Claims’ button.
- To upload supporting documents for your challenge, select ‘Choose File’ and upload the file.
- Click on ‘Save your Claims and pay the fee’ or in the case to modify the claims, Click on ‘Modify your Claims’.
- Pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Fee’. The claims will be saved finally after successful payment of the required fee.

- Visit the official website: Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Find the Cut-Off Link: On the homepage, click the link that says “UGC NET JUNE 2024 SUBJECT/CATEGORY WISE CUTOFF.”
- Access the PDF: A new page will open with a PDF file containing the cut-off list.
- Download the Cut-Off List: Review the subject/category-wise cut-off and download the file for future reference.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
UGC NET examination is conducted under the supervision of CBSE and this examination follows certain examination pattern. The given below are the details that are related to the UGC NET exam pattern 2024.
The UGC NET examination 2024 consists of 2 papers. They are
- Paper 1
- Paper 2
The complete details regarding the exam structure that is followed in paper 1 and paper 2 is given below.
- The Paper I will test the candidates on areas such as teaching and research aptitude. It will comprise of topics like reasoning ability, comprehension, general awareness, and divergent thinking.
- While the Paper-II will be based on the subject selected from the 81 subjects (like Political Science, Philosophy, History, Commerce, Music, etc.) by the candidate.
- The UGC NET question paper will be objective type.
- The exam duration is of 3 hours.
- The first session will be for Paper I, where it includes 50 questions for 100 marks.
- The second session will be for Paper II. The question paper will include 100 questions for 200 marks.

Paper-II of the UGC NET is going to be subject-based. The candidates will be asked questions based on the subject they choose. The paper will be objective type.

UGC NET Selection Process 2024
UGC NET examination is conducted under the supervision of CBSE and it follows a certain process for the selection of the eligible candidates. the given below are the details regarding the UGC NET selection process that the commission is following for the year 2024.
- Candidates of the General category need to acquire at least 40% aggregate marks in both Papers I and II. Reserved candidates need to acquire at least 35% aggregate marks in both papers I and II.
- The qualification of the number of candidates for Assistant Professor should be equal to 6% of the total number of candidates appearing in both the papers.
- The qualification of the number of candidates for JRF should be equal to 1% of the total number of candidates appearing in both papers.
- The aggregate percentage of both paper I and II in a particular subject, corresponding to the number of slots arrived at, will decide the qualifying cut-off for selecting Assistant Professor in that subject. All other subject-wise qualifying cut-offs shall be determined in the same way.
- Out of the total number of qualified candidates, candidates who had applied for “Eligibility for Assistant Professor and JRF both” shall be taken into consideration for the post of JRF.
- Available JRF slots are allocated among different categories on the basis of the subject according to the Government’s Reservation policy.
- The aggregate percentage of both paper I and II in a particular subject, corresponding to the number of slots arrived at, will decide the qualifying cut-off for selecting JRF in that subject. All other subject-wise qualifying cut-offs shall be determined in the same way.
