The UGC NET 2021 phase 3 exams are scheduled to take place on 4 January 2022 and 5 January 2022. The phase 3 of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 Examination and the 4 exams rescheduled due to cyclone Jawad will also take place with the UGC NET 2021 phase 3 exams. The admit card for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) for phase 3 examinations has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who have submitted the application for the exam can visit the official website of NTA and download their respective admit cards. The Sociology exam shall be held on 4 January 2022 in a single shift and the Geography exam shall be will be conducted on 5 January 2022, in two shifts. The test is held for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor.
Phase 3 Admit Card Released
The admit card for the University Grants Commission, (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) for phase 3 examinations has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Visit the official website of NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Navigate to the link ‘NET phase 3 admit card’ on the homepage.
- Enter your official log in credentials such as username and password and any other details required.
- Your UGC NET 2021 admit card will be displayed.
- Download it and take a print out for future use.

Invitations for applying for the UGC NET examination were conducted by the NTA earlier this year. Now through the official notification published on November 13, 2021, it is indicated that the examination dates and admit card of the examination are published.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2021?
- The interested candidates can apply for the UGC NET through the online portal
- The candidates have to visit the official website of NTA
- Click on the Apply online portal of UGC NET
- Ensure to register yourself in and get the ID and Password
- Application number will be thus generated
- After receiving the ID and Password, enter all the mentioned data after reading the instructions
- You can also select the exam center from the given options
- Ensure to upload your scanned data like Photograph and signature in the mentioned size
- After that, the candidates can remit the application fees through the online portal after selecting the payment method
- After completing the payment process, click submit and generate your application form for further references.

- For the General: Rs. 1000/-
- For SC & ST: 250/-
- For OBC: Rs. 500/-
- For PH: Rs. 250/-
Last Date for Online Correction of UGC NET
The NTA offers the candidates a chance to correct or rectify the errors in the application form from 07-12 September 2021. The candidates can use this opportunity to make corrections or change the exam center and so on. If there is an error regarding the eligibility, the notification will be mentioned so. Thus, make sure you are eligible for the position and apply and make your application error-free

Education Qualification
The candidates who desire to apply for the exam under NTA UGC NET should have completed their master’s and passed the concerned subject with at least 55% of marks. Other eligibility criteria as per the research and qualification are mentioned in the official notification by the UGC
Age Limit
- For JRF: Max. Age: 30 Yrs.
- NET: No Age Limit.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules concerned for the respective categories.
