According to the proposed eligibility criteria issued by the UPSC CDS recruitment board, the candidates who wish to apply for the post must have graduated from an institution recognised by the government or from a university. The Officer’s Training Academy Chennai, Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Indian Military Academy Dehradun, and Air Force Academy Hyderabad recruit candidates based on the rank they scored in the written exam. The recruitment in the respective posts will also be based on the choices opted by the candidates. A monthly stipend of INR 21,000 will be given to the candidates.
