Table of Contents
The Union Public Service Commission is annually conducting exams to recruit the most eligible candidates to various vacancies available. The UPSC CDS or Combined Defence Service exam is conducted twice every year to recruit the aspirants to the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy. The notification for the recruitment is issued on the official website in October/ November and June/ July. The exams will be conducted in February and November. The CDS aims to recruit the most efficient and skilled candidates for the proposed post.

UPSC CDS Exam Marking Scheme 2021
The UPSC CDS exam is a highly prestigious exam that is conducted annually to recruit the most efficient candidates. The negative marking will be applicable. Around 1/3 marks will be deducted for exam wrong answer. If the candidate is not sure about certain answers, they should leave it instead of trying their luck. The negative marking can affect the overall result of the candidate.
The candidate should do their best to crack the exam within a limited period. Out of the 4 options, the candidate should choose the one correct option. The candidates should use the efficiency to crack the exam within a limited period. The unanswered questions will not be considered for negative marking. If a candidate chooses to opt for more than one option, it will be considered for negative marking. So, the candidates should be careful while choosing the correct options.
