How to Calculate the Score of UPSC CDS?

The scores of candidates are calculated as per the process given below. This is the marking scheme which is followed by UPSC for Combined Defense Service Examination.

• For the correct answer in each section of the test, candidates will be awarded one mark
• For incorrect responses, 1/3 marks are deducted.
• In case candidates mark more than one option in the test that will be treated as the wrong answer and the mark will be deducted.
• The total score is calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers marked by the candidate.
