MPPSC Mains 2019 exam programmes are begun. The Madya Pradesh Public Service Commission has started the exam program against the 2019 MPPSC State services recruitment. The commission has already completed the General Studies-1 to General Studies-IV exams on March 21, 22, 23 and 24 respectively. The PSC conducted the Mains General Studies-1 and General Studies-2 paper on March 21 and March 22 respectively.
MPPSC Paper Analysis: Mains March 21, 2021, General Studies-1
The question paper was of Moderate level for the majority of the candidates. The question pattern was similar to last year’s exam. In Paper-1 the questions were asked from topics like History, Geography, Water Management, and Disaster Management. In March 21’s question paper 150 questions were asked from the History and its related topics and the remaining 150 from the Geography related parts. The question paper level for each topic is:
- History: moderate to difficult, and
- Geography: easy to moderate.
Under the Geography section, the majority of questions were asked based on the Madya Pradesh state’s geography structure. In History, questions were asked from topics like Rigveda Panchjan, Atharveda, European Jagran, etc. The questions from the European Jagran was repeated exactly from the 2018 question paper. In geography questions where asked from Maurya Kala, Guptakal, soil erosion, Udyog, etc. Most of the questions were simply repeating the previous year question paper.

MPPSC Mains Exam Analysis: March 22, 2021, General Studies-2
Similar to Paper-1, the General Studies-2 paper was of Moderate level, and the question pattern was different and tougher than the 2018 exam. Only 20% of questions followed the previous year structure. The 15 marks questions asked from the constitution and Polity topics seem a bit tricky for lots of students. In comparison to the 2018 paper, questions were easy on topics like various committees, amendments, etc. PSC also asked 2-3 questions on the amendments, nature & duties of the Governor, etc. Some of the questions/ topics asked in the exam is:
- Comparison of America and the Indian constitution
- women-related questions: women’s life in villages
- how do diseases spread: covid
- Force development
- Duties of Governor
- 42nd Amendment

Mains Exam MPPSC Paper Analysis: March 23, 2021, General Studies-3
In MPPSC General Studies Paper-3 questions were asked from topics like Science, Environment and Economy. This year the questions paper was of moderate-difficult level. Comparing to the previous year paper, the question paper was on the tougher side. Among the 300 marks questions, 150 Marks were for Science & Technology, and the remaining 150 Marks questions were asked from the Economics topics.

In the science section, the majority of the questions were from the Chemistry topics and that too be numerical making to difficult for most of the candidates. Even the questions asked from Economy topics were tricky. Most of the questions were from the NCERt textbooks, if you were an avid reader then the paper-3 would have been a child play for you.

- National Income,
- Atmanirbhar, etc.
MPPSC Mains Analysis General Studies-IV: March 24, 2021
In Madya Pradesh State Civil Services Exam, General Studies Paper IV, the questions will ask from there topics: Philosophy, Psychology and Public Administration. This 200 marks ethics question paper was moderate-difficult for most of the candidates. Comparing to the 2018 Paper, Part-A & C were difficult while the Part-B questions were easier. Even the Case Study asked in this year question paper was difficult. Questions were asked on Naitik Margdarshan, Ram Charit Manas, Books Author name, Tulsidas, Naitik Margdarshan, Civil Sewak, Swami Vivekanand, Raja Roman Roy, Civil Sewak. In Section C, there were reading comprehension questions on topics like air pollution, Arthvyavastha, etc. Some of the questions asked in this paper were:
- Importance of Values in governance
- Gandhian thought regarding Truth and God
- Transparency
- Triratna in Jainism
- Non-verbal communication
- Ethical guidance
- Tools of accountability
- Contribution of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, etc.
