MPPSC Study Plan 2022

The organisation of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has created recruitment opportunities for different types of vacancies available in their organisation. To successfully get a job in MPPSC, the candidates will have to first give the preliminary examination and the mains examination which will be followed by an interview round. However, if you want to excel in the preliminary and mains examination you will have to contribute yourself to make a perfect study plan. The perfect study plan will consist of various aspects related to the syllabus of the preliminary examinations and the main examinations. MPPSC 2022 Study Plan – Important Books 

There are certain important books that must be thoroughly analysed by the candidates if we want to give the preliminary examination and the mains examination of MPPSC. Given below is the list of important books that you can buy and read if you want to successfully pass the examination.

  • M. Laxmikant’s Indian Polity (4th Edition or 5th Edition)
  • Rajiv Ahir’s Spectrum for Modern Indian History (Latest Edition)
  • Madhya Pradesh Ek Parichay by McGraw-Hill publication
  • For Economics, State board school textbooks Class 11th, 12th or Ramesh Singh’s Indian Economy (11th Edition) and Sanjiv Verma’s Indian Economy.
  • Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by RS Aggarwal
  • Fast Track Objective Arithmetic by Rajesh Verma
  • A New Approach to Reasoning Verbal, Non-Verbal & Analytical – Verbal, Non – Verbal & Analytical by Arihant Publication.

MPPSC Preparation Strategy 2022

We are sharing with you all today the subject wise exam preparation strategy so that you can give the preliminary and the mains examination easily. You can check the examination preparation strategies for different subjects given below.

History

The candidates will have to answer questions regarding three parts of history namely Ancient, Medieval, and Modern. To successfully prepare yourself for the Ancient History Part, you will have to read NCERT from Class 12th and Class 11th. You will have to go through the NCERT in order to successfully get knowledge regarding the Ancient History Part of the History paper in this examination. The mediaeval history part can also be learned from the same NCERT book. For the Modern History Parts, we request the candidates to go through the book called Spectrum by Rajiv Ahir. The candidates can also go through the books of the Madhya Pradesh board in order to get the knowledge regarding History subject.

Geography

The next important subject for the candidates will be the subject of Geography. The subject of Geography will have two subtopics namely Physical Geography and Human Geography. The candidates will have to prepare for both of the topics separately. For both of the topics, the candidates can read the NCERT from Class 6th to Class 12th. Newspapers can also be a great source for preparing for Geography.

Indian Polity

Another important subject that will be present in the MP PSC examination is Indian Polity. The important subjects in this examination will revolve around parliament and the state legislature. The questions will also be asked from Central legislation. You can easily get important questions regarding the subjects by going through the book called Indian polity by M Laxmikanth. 

Indian Economy

Indian economy will definitely be a hard subject for candidates who have never studied economics in their school. The questions will be asked related to the common knowledge of the candidates on the subject of Indian economics. The questions will be factual, that’s why the candidates must have clearance in topics like GDP GNP and the Indian Tax Department. You can easily read NCERTs on the Indian economy in order to get all of the basic topics right.

Current Affairs

Current affair questions are asked every year in the MPPSC examination from the candidates. We request the candidates to read a national newspaper every day in order to get the information regarding the current affairs. The candidates are requested to read The Hindu newspaper every day in order to get all of the knowledge. The candidates can also read a monthly magazine and that will be a cherry on top. You can easily write down the important current affairs in order to remember them till the last.
