CTET 2022 notification is yet to be released in the official website of the CBSE. CBSE Conducts CTET every year and has offered a detailed syllabus for candidates who are going to appear in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CBSE conducts 2 different exams named as Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 has a different syllabus, level of difficulty and exam pattern. CTET Syllabus 2021 contains subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (compulsory), Language-II (compulsory), Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Social Studies/Social Sciences and Science. Paper I is also known as Primary Stage and paper II is known as Elementary Stage.
According to CBSE, questions in CTET Paper 1 will be from the prescribed syllabus of NCERT for class 1 to 5 but difficulty level and linkages could be up to the secondary stage. For CTET Paper 2 Questions will be from the prescribed syllabus of NCERT for class 6 to 8 but difficulty level and linkages could be up to Senior secondary stage.
The CTET 2020 Exam will be conducted in two phases – Paper I and Paper II. Both the papers will be conducted on a single day in different shifts. CTET 2022 Paper I (Primary Stage) will be for the candidates who intend to teach Class I to V and CTET Paper II (Elementary Stage) will be for the candidates who intend to teach Class VI to VIII. Both Paper I and Paper II have Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The Syllabus and Exam Pattern of the both remains the same.

Candidates who intend to teach Classes I to V need to appear for Paper I. The CTET 2021 exam pattern for Paper-I is:

CTET Syllabus 2022
CTET Syllabus 2020 is defined by CBSE. There have been no changes in the syllabus over the years. Paper 1 comprises 5 sections namely, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Paper 1 is for primary school teaching, therefore; the level of questions is related to class 1- 5.
Similarly, paper 2 is conducted for elementary school teaching, hence, questions are of class 6- 8 level.

The registration process and Exam Pattern for CTET
- The exam pattern defines everything. CTET is all India examination for Central teacher government job.
- It is conducted all over India at different allocated places. The exam is conducted through offline mode.
- First of all, the registrations are made open on the official website. The online forms can be easily filled by the candidate with signature.
- The admit cards are made ready before 10 days of the exam. All the related information is also available on the official website.
- The candidate has to enroll for Paper 1 in the beginning and after completely passing the exam (60% marks) one can also enroll for Paper 2.

CTET 2021 Eligibility for Paper I
- Candidate must have passed senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
- Also, he/she must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
CTET 2021 Eligibility for Paper II
- A graduate degree in the relevant discipline must be obtained.
- Also, the candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Use of Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Sheet
There are a certain set of instructions which must be followed while handling the (Optical Mark Recognition) OMR Sheet. Candidates must abide by the given instructions and follow the rules stated regarding OMR Sheet while attempting CTET 2020. Given below are a few facts and guidelines related to it:
- Candidates will find OMR Sheet placed inside a sealed test booklet. The seal must be opened only after the announcement by the invigilator.
- Code like A, B, C or D printed on OMR sheet will be the same as mentioned in the test booklet.
- OMR Sheet will be scanned on an optical scanner. Candidates should ensure that OMR Sheet is not folded.
- Do not write your Roll number anywhere except in a specified space in OMR sheet.
Side 1 of OMR sheet contains the following columns which are to be filled clearly and accurately with a ballpoint pen (blue/black). The use of pencil is strictly prohibited.

- Father’s Name
- Centre Number
- Name of the Examination Centre
- Subject offered for Paper-II (Only in case of Paper-II)
Side 2 of OMR Sheet contains the following columns:
- Roll Number
- Main Test Booklet Number
- Language Supplement Booklet Number
- Language Supplement Booklet Code
- Subject offered for Paper-II (Only in case of Paper-II)
- Language in which you have attempted the questions
- Signature of the candidate
The candidates can now apply for the CTET through the online portal from 20 September 2021 to 19 October 2021. Make sure to read the instructions and other details given in the official notification before applying.
