APSC Recruitment 2020 Out – Apply Online for AE & Other Posts

Assam PSC has released recruitment notification to recruit eligible candidates for Assistant Engineer and various other posts. Aspiring candidates must meet given eligibility conditions  before applying for the post. Below we will discuss in detail about eligibility criteria, vacancies etc.-

APSC Recruitment 2020 – Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

APSC  Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Recruitment 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

i) The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and must be a permanent resident of Assam.

ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as proof of residency with the application.

OR

iii) The candidate must produce registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the state of Assam along with the application form.

1. Education Qualification

i) candidate applying must hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical/ B.Tech. (Electrical) Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government.

OR

Passed Parts A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India).

ii) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo), except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

2. Age Limit

The candidates applying for  AE post  should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020.

Age  Relaxation-

The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates  belonging to following categories –

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years

(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.

Note:-

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation /HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

APSC Language Officer (Assamese) Recruitment 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria set by APSC for the post of Language Officer (Assamese)  is as mentioned below. Following factors has to be satisfied by the candidates to be eligible to apply for the post-

Education Qualification

The candidate applying must have Law Degree with Assamese as one of the subjects in the degree course.

Age Limit

The candidates applying should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020.

Age Relaxation-

The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates  belonging to following categories –

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years

(ii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) irrespective of belonging SC/ST/OBC and General Category age  limit is relaxable by 10 years.

APSC Director Recruitment 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the post of Director,  Directorate of Archives, Assam must  satisfy the below mentioned eligibility conditions to be eligible to apply-

Education Qualification

a) Candidate’s applying must have passed at least Second class M.A in Modern Indian History and having one year diploma in Archival Science from national Archives of India, New Delhi.

b) Preference will be given to those having M.Phil or Ph.D in History.

Experience

a) Candidates applying must have at least 6 years of experience in the rank of Archivist or in similar higher capacity in this line in any Archival Institution.

b) Also Preference will be given to the departmental candidates who have 8 (eight) years experiences in Archival management in any Govt. Archival Organization.

c) Also candidate’s must have experience in Archival Planning/Schemes.

Age Limit:

The candidates should not be less than 45 years of age and not more than 55 years of age as on 01/01/2020 to be eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation-

The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to following categories –

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates

APSC Recruitment 2020 – Application Fees

Application fee for candidate’s applying for APSC Assistant engineer & other post is as given below-

Note:-

(i) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected.

(ii) There shall be no refund nor the fees can be held in reserve for any other exams.

APSC Recruitment 2020 – How to Apply?

• Applicants can apply online only through APSC’s recruitment website. Candidate’s applying must register in the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC, those who have not registered yet must  go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link.
• Once the registration is complete applicants need to login with the credentials.
• Go to the live advertisements of APSC in ‘Apply Section’ on the homepage.
• Before applying candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria and other relevant details carefully. Applicant can click on ‘Apply’ to fill up the application form.
• Candidates are required to submit all the documents required and upload their scanned photograph & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of documents. Also documents must be uploaded in such a way that  file size does not exceed 200 KB and is legible when a printout taken. Hence, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale.
• An applicant is required to upload the scanned images of his/her recent photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format as given below-
• Size of the photograph (passport size) (Min size-20 KB & Max size–200 KB)
• Size of the signature (Min size-15 KB & Max size–200 KB)
• Candidates should ensure that all relevant field are   filled in correctly before submitting the application. click on the declarations checkbox to enable the ‘Preview’ button before final submission.
• After previewing the details filled in by the applicant he/she can either click ‘Submit’ for final submission or click ‘Cancel’ button for necessary corrections before final submission of the Application Form. You cannot make any changes once submitted.
• Once form is submitted applicant has to pay application fee along with processing fee as applicable.
• In case of failure of the payment applicant should click on button ‘Validate Payment’ to verify the payment from bank.
• On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be sent to applicant’s email-id
• After submitting the Online Application, the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application and retain the hardcopy of the Online Application Form.
