Bihar Police Constable Selection Criteria 2022
The candidates who are apply for the post of CSBC Bihar Police Constable are selected based on the following eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria includes Age Limit, Education Qualification, Physical standards etc.
Candidates must be 10/+2 passed from a recognized board will be considered for this post.

CSBC Bihar Police Constable Selection Process 2022
The Bihar Police selection process includes the following stages:
- A Written examination (Preliminary & Mains)
- PET/ PST
- A Medical examination
- Document verification
Step 1: Written Examination
A Written examination takes place after the application form of the candidate has been submitted. The level of examination for the written test is 10+2 level.
Step 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
After qualifying the written test, candidates have to go through the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates will be tested on the basis of the physical criteria of height for men and women and chest for men. Further Selection will be based on satisfying the stated Physical Criteria.
- General/BC candidates: About 165 cms (Male) and 155 cms (female)
- SC/ST/EBC candidates: About 160 cms (male) and 155 Cms (female)
- In case of Gorkha Battalion (male only): 160 cms
- General/ BC /EBC candidates: Between 81 cms – 86 cms (male)
- SC/ST candidates: Between 79 cms – 84 cms (male)
- Gorkha Battalion: Between 79 cms – 84 cms (male)
- In the case of female candidates of all categories: 48 Kg
- In case of male candidates of all categories: Should be proportionate to the height
- Details of the Physical Efficiency Test
Step 3: Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Candidates will be assessed in the Bihar Police CSBC Constable Physical Endurance Test based on the three Sports Activities that are part of the Physical Endurance Test to check the candidate’s physical performance, which will lead to the candidate’s final selection in the exam.
Each sport is granted a maximum of 50 points, with candidates receiving points based on their results in the exam. The following are the three activities:
- Male: Around 1km (1 mile) in 6 minutes
- In case of females: About 1 km in 5 minutes
- Male: Around 04 Feet (minimum)
- Female: Around 03 Feet (minimum)
Shot put/Gola Fek:
- Male: 16 pounds shot via 16-17 feet
- Female: 12 pounds shot via 12-13 feet
Step 4: Medical Examination
After completing the selection procedure successfully, the eligible candidates should pass through a medical examination. Eyes, color blindness, hearing power, and stutter; all are checked under the medical examination which takes place.

Step 5: Document Verification

- High school mark list
- Intermediate mark list
- All necessary proof for educational qualification mentioned in the notification.
- Certificates for the SC/ST/EWS/OBC etc.
- Caste certificate
- Income Certificate
- Two passport size photographs of the candidates.
The candidates should have the minimum qualifying marks in order to attend the medical interview stage of CSBC Police Constable selection procedure. The final phase of the selection process is the medical examination.
