Role Overview

Electronic Arts is seeking a Data and AI Engineering Intern to join its Data and Analytics team. Key Responsibilities

As a Data and AI Engineering Intern, you will:

• Develop Python and SQL solutions for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Build prototypes using LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
• Assist in developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, APIs, and reusable data products.
• Apply testing, data quality, security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams and present findings, prototypes, and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

• Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• Have strong fundamentals in Python, SQL, programming, and problem solving.
• Possess a basic understanding of databases, data pipelines, APIs, and Generative AI.
• Be familiar with Git and collaborative software development.

While not mandatory, exposure to the following technologies is considered advantageous:

• Data & Cloud Platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, cloud platforms, vector databases
• Data Engineering Tools: dbt, Airflow
• AI/ML Frameworks & Libraries: LangChain, LangGraph, Streamlit, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow

Machine Learning experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow is listed as an additional advantage.
