The ESIC or The Employee State Insurance Corporation conducts examinations for the post of UPD or Upper Divisional Clerk at the national level. Aspirants holding at least a bachelor’s degree along with possession of the working knowledge of computers in terms of Office programs and databases are eligible to apply for the exam. ESIC UDC Exam Pattern 2022
Phase 1 of the exam is also called Prelims. Phase 2 of the examination is also called as Mains. Phase 3 of the examination focuses on the test of computer skills and the ability of the aspirant. The Employee State Insurance Corporation is the authorization committed with the scheduling of examinations under these three phases for the post of Upper Divisional Clerk.
Around three-fourth of the recruitment is conducted through examinations in three phases as aforesaid. The remaining one fourth of the recruitment is done on the basis of fitness along with seniority. The remaining 10% of the employment is done through the conducting of competitive exams at the departmental level on a limited basis.
Phase I-Preliminary Examination Pattern
The duration of ESIC UDC Exam is one hour. The total marks for the examination is 200 which consists of 100 questions. It is tabulated below:

The duration of test is thirty minutes. The total marks for the examination is 50. It is tabulated below:

An overall of 3882 UDC or Upper Division Clerk, Stenographer and MTS or Multi-Tasking Staff vacancies has been declared for various regions through ESIC recruitment 2022.
