GPSC AE Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- The GPSC Assistant Engineer applicant should be under the age of 35.
- They must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline relevant to the position of interest from a recognised university.
- It is also mandatory to be fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. Certain categories and occurrences may also get age relaxation.
- The GPSC AE exam is administered on a national scale and comprises of two parts: a written Prelims Exam and an interview.
- The merit list is created by giving the prelim marks a 50% weightage, and the interview marks a 50% weightage.

GPSC AE Recruitment Educational Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering with a concentration in civil or mechanical engineering from a recognised university or institution formed or incorporated in India by or under a Central or State Act is required.
- The candidate must have a basic grasp of computer applications, according to the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- The ideal applicant will be fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, or both languages.
GPSC AE Recruitment Age Limit
To be eligible to take the GPSC Assistant Engineer test, the candidate must be more than 21 and less than the age of 35. Candidates that fit into specific categories are exempt from the maximum age restriction. Even if a candidate fulfills the relaxation criteria for more than one category, they are only eligible for one.
Age relaxation would be provided to candidates from various categories in accordance with government laws and norms. The specifics of the age relaxation are broken down per category as follows:

Nationality Criteria for GPSC AE Recruitment 2022
The applicant must be a citizen of one of the following countries:
- An Indian national
- Bhutanese or Nepalese national
- A Tibetan refugee who moved to India permanently before January 1, 1962.
- A person of Indian descent from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, or Vietnam.
GPSC AE Recruitment Physical Standards Criteria
GPSC investigates each candidate who is selected for an appointment. The physical standards that an individual must fulfill to become eligible are given below:
- The candidate must be in overall health and do not have any physiological faults that could conflict with his ability to complete his job.

GPSC AE Exam Pattern 2022
The GPSC Assistant Engineer exam will be divided into two parts in 2022: a preliminary test and an interview. The exam is divided into General Studies and Specialized Subject Knowledge. The first exam is a multiple-choice test with a maximum of 300 points.

GPSC AE Recruitment Answer Key 2022
GPSC AE Recruitment answer key comprises of all the answers to the questions asked in the examination. It will be published on their official website. It will be published almost after a month of the examination.

GPSC AE Recruitment Result 2022

GPSC AE Recruitment Salary and Benefits
If the candidate passes the Gujarat Public Service Commission selection procedure, they will be selected as an Assistant Engineer in the GWSSB service, with a salary range of INR 44,900 – INR 1,42,400 [Level-8]. In addition to the base income, every applicant selected for the post of GPSC Assistant Engineer receives a set of allowances as part of their GPSC Assistant Engineer remuneration structure. GPSC trainees are additionally eligible for the following advantages in addition to the usual remuneration structure:
