Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota (SDSC SHAR) has conducted a written exam to recruit candidates for the post of Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The result will be released through the official website of ISRO – sdsc.shar.gov.in. Candidates who have qualified in the written test will be called for the skill test. The shortlist of the candidates will be prepared in a 1:7 ratio where a minimum of ten candidates will be selected for the Skill Test from each category based on the total number of vacancies for each post.

ISRO Cut Off Marks 2022
The cut off marks for selection of teachers will be set by ISRO based on factors like number of vacancies, difficulty level of the paper and number of applicants. ISRO is most likely to announce the cut off marks along with the announcement of the results of the written exam.
ISRO Teacher Selection Process
ISRO selects eligible candidates for the post of teachers through a two stage process – Written Test and Skill Test. Candidates who had applied for the post will be called for the written test provided they had all the required eligibility criteria. The Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of
the candidate is tested covering both the breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.
The Written Test is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Both the papers will consist of 150 questions each. Paper I and Paper II will be of 150 mark each and the duration for each paper will be two hours and thirty minutes (180 minutes). The subjects included are as follows: English, Hindi, Reasoning, Current Affairs and Teaching Methodology.
The candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test on the basis of their performance in the written test. This test shall be a chalk and board based test to assess the teaching skills of the candidate. The skill test will be for 100 marks and the minimum qualifying marks is 60. Candidates will have to demonstrate his/ her subject knowledge and teaching ability to score well in the skill test. The final selection will purely be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test, from amongst the candidates who qualify in the Skill Test.
