ITBP Head Constable Salary
Eligible candidates will be recruited on a temporary basis which is likely to be permanent in Level 4 in pay matrix Rs. 25500 to Rs. 81100 as per 7th CPC. Selected candidates will be placed anywhere in India or abroad.

ITBP Head Constable Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should go through the detailed notification to understand all the eligibility criteria laid by ITBP. They should ensure that they satisfy all the criteria in order to prevent rejection and disappointment. Read on to know the details of the eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have intermediate or Senior School Leaving Certificate from recognized Board or University or equivalent.
Typing Skill
Applicants should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi only on computer.
Age Limit
Head Constable CM Direct Entry – Candidates age should be in the range of 18 to 25 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 2nd January 1997.
Head Constable CM (LDCE) (Only for ITBP Serving Personnel) – The maximum age limit is 30 years for ITBP serving personnel like Constable (GD), Head Constable (GD), Constable (Tradesmen) who have five years of regular service in Constable or Head Constable grade or both in ITBP force. They should also have medical category SHAPE I with good service record.
The cut off date in determining the age in both the categories is 1st January 2022.
Nationality
Indian citizens including subject of Nepal and Bhutan are eligible to apply.

ITBP Head Constable Application Process
- Candidates have to ensure that they satisfy all the required criteria.
- Applications have to be submitted online. No other modes of application will be considered.
- Go to the official website of ITBP, recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
- Click on the tab, ‘New User Registration’ available on the homepage.
- Complete registration, login and proceed with the application process.
- Fill up the required details, upload the needed documents and pay the application fee.
- Submit the application form.
- Take a copy for future reference.

Application Fee
Applicants will have to pay an application fee while submitting their application form. The fee is Rs. 100. Female candidates, Ex Servicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe are exempted from paying the application fee.
Candidates whose applications are found in order shall be issued admit cards to appear for the recruitment exam. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website.

ITBP Head Constable Selection Process
The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Skill Test, Documentation, Detailed Medical Examination/ Review Medical Examination. The medical examination to assess the fitness of candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination.
