The Indo-Tibetan Border Police are India’s primary border patrol organization with its border with China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. ITBP is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces of India. In 2017, applications were invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male and Female) for filling up the vacancies in 08 different posts, in Group ‘C’ (non-Gazetted & non Ministerial), on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITBP. ITBP Tradesman Admit Card 2021 Released
The 2017 ITBP Tradesman, Constables recruitment notification was to select candidates towards 08 posts across India. The notification came out for 303 vacant posts. The posts have All India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. Posts included in the ITBP Tradesman2017 recruitment are:
- Water Carrier
- Safai Karamchari
The selected candidates will be hired in the level-3 of the pay matrix with the scale of pay, Rs. 21700 – 69100. The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/ instructions.
ITBP Tradesman Admit Card
The selection process includes three phases;
- Phase 01: PET, PST & Trade Test
- Phase 02: Written Test, and
- Document Verification
ITBP has decided to conduct the written test for the successful candidates from Phase 01, and the admit cards are now available for download. Written test for ITBP CT/Tradesman-2017 is scheduled on January 10, 2021. Candidates can download the admit card from the below-given link using their registered email & password combination.
The ITBP Constable/ Tradesman exam pattern is:

- Candidates should bring two blue or black ball pens for the written examination.
- For preparing the merit list, the marks obtained by a candidate in the written test will be given 60% weightage and the marks obtained in the Trade Test will be given 40% weightage.
