KTET Category III is meant for candidates who wish to teach High School classes (Classes VIII to X). The exam is conducted in an offline OMR-based format and includes 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking, and the total time given to complete the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The questions are framed to assess the candidate’s understanding of adolescent psychology, subject-specific pedagogy, language proficiency, and in-depth knowledge of their subject area.
