Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test is to assess the quality of teaching aspirants for Lower Primary(LP), Upper Primary (UP) and High School Classes in Kerala. It is very similar to the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (C-TET). Aspirants should score the cut-off mark in the Kerala TET examination to get consideration for the teaching positions in the schools. The Kerala TET examinations will be conducted in offline mode only. For applying for the LP School Assistant, UP School Assistant, and High School Teaching positions candidates should require a Kerala TET scorecard. Pareekshabhavan Kerala has released the KTET 2023 admit card on April 25th, 2023. Kerala TET Exam 2023 for Category 1 and 2 will be held on 12th May 2023 and for Category 3 and 4 exams will be held on 15th May 2023 in two shifts from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 4:30 pm. KTET Admit Card 2023
On April 25, 2023, the admission card was published on the official website. Which is only available in online mode. On the admit card, you will find all of the information you need for your exam. Also, please be aware that you will be admitted to this examination only on the basis of your admit card. So, on the day of the results, don’t forget to bring your admit card. This exam will be given in a paper-and-pencil format.
You will be allotted 150 minutes to complete this KTET exam. This exam will have a total of 150 questions. Let us also mention that Preet will receive one score for each accurate response in the exam. Your exam results will be available once some time has passed. On the basis of your grades, which will be released in a fair manner. You will be hired for this position based on the results of this exam.

- Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
- Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate TTC /DEd or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.

Kerala-TET Category III
- BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto), OR
- For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education is eligible to apply, OR
- BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and who passed in LTTC are eligible to apply.
Kerala-TET Category IV
- Candidates who have acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers are eligible to apply for K-TET- IV
