RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2025

Online objective-style papers make up both the first and second stages of the CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot positions at RRB. Four parts make up the first level of CBT, and you have sixty minutes to finish them. There are two components to the second CBT level. Part A consists of four parts totaling one hundred questions, which must be answered in ninety minutes. RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2025 for CBT 1

The 1st stage CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot posts is common and consists of 75 questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness on Current Affairs

Note- There is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer. 

RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2025 for CBT 2

The 2nd stage CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot posts has two steps: Part A and B. Part A has four subjects – Maths, Basic Science and Engineering, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. Part B consists of questions from the relevant trade.

Note- There is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (for Candidates who have opted for ALP)

To be eligible, applicants must receive at least 42 marks in each exam battery. Only applicants who pass the aptitude test will be included in the ALP merit list, with 30% going toward the marks from the computer-based aptitude test and 70% going toward the marks from Part A of the second stage of CBT.

There shall be no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test.
