Table of Contents
The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for Recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. Candidates below 25 years with a graduation degree can apply towards these posts. Departmental candidates amongst Constables, Head Constables and Assistant Sub-Inspector of Delhi Police with minimum three years service, and below 30 years can apply for Departmental Vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male. SSC will update the tentative vacancies for every recruitment cycle by the end of the year.
SSC CPO notification for the year 2020 is already out. And the selection process in ongoing. The Staff Selection Commission has invited applications from eligible graduates below 25 years towards the Central Police services. The SSC conducts the CPO recruitment test to select candidates towards Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF.

SSC CPO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024
1: In a certain code language, ‘ROK’ is written as ‘44’ and ‘MIG’ is written as ‘29’. What will be the code for ‘TAL’ in that code language?
SSC CPO recruitment has two stages of written examinations, physical efficiency/endurance test, and medical test before the final selection. The first stage/Paper-01 is a Computer Based Test(CBT), and the successful candidates from the CBT should appear for the Physical Efficiency Test(/Physical Endurance Test). The successful candidates from the PET will be called for the Paper-II(Descriptive Test). The final list will be prepared only after the detailed medical test, which is mandatory for all candidates.

SSC CPO Selection Process
The stages of SSC CPO recruitment process are explained below:
Paper 1: This paper is conducted for all registered candidates. On the basis of their performance in Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in PET/ PST Examination. The commission will fix qualifying marks in Paper 1 to select candidates for the next round of the selection process.
PET/PST: PET/ PST is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Ex-Servicemen are not required to undergo PET.
Paper 2: Only those candidates who qualify PET/ PST are allowed to appear in the Paper 2 exam.
Medical Exam and Document Verification: On the basis of candidates’ performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2, they will be shortlisted for appearing in medical examination. Candidates, who are successful in medical examination, will be called for detailed Document Verification.
Final Selection: Final selection and allocation will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the preferences of posts/force given by them at the time of document verification.
