Tamil Nadu PSC invites application from eligible candidates professing Hindu Religion for filling up the vacancies in the post of Executive Officer, Grade III and Grade IV included in the Group VIIB and Group VIII Services respectively. Interested and eligible candidates shall apply online through the official website of the Commission after registering under the One Time Registration Scheme. The written examination for both Group VIIB and VIII comprises two papers, each of which to be answered in 3 hours. The paper I of both Groups includes 1)General Studies 2)Aptitude and Mental Ability 3)General English/ General Tamil. The Paper II of both Groups includes 1)Hindu Religion 2)Saivism and Vaishnavism. For answering the language part, the applicants can opt either Tamil or English. There shall also be an Oral test in the form of interview for 80 marks.
Selection Procedure
Selection is mainly based on the merit scored by the candidate in the written exam and the interview subject to the rules of reservation.
