UPSC CDS Examination 2021: Salary Scale
The Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to various defence academies. The candidates who are selected for the academies are given with necessary training and education to be commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army. Also, the candidates will be paid with an adequate stipend during the training itself. Here are the details regarding the salary scale for candidates.
The following figures are mentioned in terms of ranks in the army but they remain the same equivalent ranks in the air force and navy.

Training Period Stipend
1: Which one of the following is not a Harappan site?
- The Army Officers and the equivalent post officers in the Navy and Air Force are eligible to get a Fixed Stipend of Rs 56,100 per month, which is the starting pay in Level 10.
- The candidates admitted to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Navy Academy, Air Force Academy will be trained in their respective academies for a period of 18 months.
- The candidates admitted to Officers Training Academy will have a training period of 49 weeks as the notification from UPSC.

CDS Perks, Benefits, and Allowances

Salary for UPSC CDS Officers Exam 2021
All who qualify for the CDS exam 2021 will be paid a stipend during their training days. They will be paid a fixed stipend of Rs 21000 per month during the period of their training. Their respective pay scales, however, will be as follows:
