Bank of Maharashtra Generalist Officer 2022 Selection Process

The following are the phases of the Bank of Maharashtra’s Generalist Officer post-selection procedure for 2022: Online Written Exam, Interview and Review of Documents

  • The applicants would be required to take an online test administered by IBPS. Based on their rank, the selected candidates will be summoned for an interview in a ratio of 1:4. The marks for the online exam and the interview are 150 and 100, respectively, which will be converted to 60:40. For the online test, interview, and final selection, the minimum cut off marks will be 50 per cent for UR / EWS and 45 per cent for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD.
  • The aggregate final score of applicants will be calculated using their results in the Online Examination and Interview, and a merit list will be created for candidate selection. If more than one applicant achieves the same cut-off points (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be listed in the merit list according to their age in decreasing order.

  • If in the bank’s judgement, an acceptable number of applicants have not qualified by achieving the minimum marks specified above in the online test, the bank has the right to modify the minimum marks as deemed appropriate.
  • Mere eligibility/admission to Group Discussions/Interviews/passing the GD/interview does not mean that the Bank is convinced beyond a reasonable doubt of the candidate’s eligibility and does not confer any right of selection on the candidate.
  • If an applicant is found to be ineligible or has provided inaccurate or false information, certificates, or documents, or has suppressed any material facts, the Bank has the right to reject his or her candidature at any stage of the selection process, and the fees paid by disqualified candidates will be forfeited. If selected, such a candidate may be dismissed from the Bank immediately.
