Eligibility for Sr. Medical Specialist & Medical Specialist post

Sr. Medical Specialist

• For those candidates who wish to apply for the General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine, minimum qualification is MBBS from recognized Institute/College approved by Medical Council of India with recognized Post Graduate Degree/DNB. Moreover, the Candidates are supposed to have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. For those candidates who wish to apply for the other Specialists post, in addition to the above qualification, Post Graduate Diploma is also regarded as one of the minimum eligible qualifications.

Medical Specialist

• For those candidates who wish to apply for the post of General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine, the minimum qualification is MBBS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India with recognized Post Graduation Degree/DNB. Sr. Medical Officer (Dental)

• Candidates who wish for the post must possess a BDS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India. A post qualification experience of one year from a Hospital/Clinic is also required.

Age limit

BCCL recruitment desk has officially announced the age limit for unreserved candidates. Any age relaxation is purely based on government law. For General/UR candidates the age relaxation as follows. The proposed age limit for Medical Specialist is 42 years and for the medical officer including Dental and Medical Specialist in E3 grade is 35 years respectively.

BCCL Recruitment 2021: Pay Scale

BCCL has released the payment scale for the upcoming recruitment 2021. According to the notification, for Sr. Medical Specialist, the payment scale ranges between Rs. 70,000 – Rs. 2,00,000. Whereas for the Medical Specialist, Senior Medical Officer, Senior Medical Officer (Dental) the payment scale ranges between Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 accordingly.
