A few weeks after the completion of exam, Bihar Public Service Commission releases the answer key through the official portal. Candidates who have appeared for the exam eagerly wait for the release of answer key. This is because the answer key helps the candidates to get an idea about the marks they have scored in the exam. The answer key for OMR exams will contain the question number with the right choice of answer (A, B, C, D) mentioned next to it. The candidates can compare their answers with the answer key. The Commission releases a provisional answer key before the final one. This will help those who have attempted the exam to get an idea of the correct answer. They can also raise objection to any answer/ answers which they think is incorrect. That is the primary purpose of this provisional answer key. The candidates can refer to any authentic source or evidence for the right answer. If they find that any of the answer mentioned in the provisional key is incorrect, they can raise objection within a stipulated time. The Commission usually releases the last date for raising objection along with the answer key.

How to Raise Objection?
In order to raise objections, candidates will have to submit application in offline mode. Candidates can speed post their objection to the following address – Secretary cum Controller of Exam, Bihar Public Service Commission, 15, Nehru Path, Bailey Road, Patna – 800014. Candidates should will have to mention the name of the exam and advertisement number on the envelope. The objections should reach the above mentioned address before the deadline.
A committee of subject experts will review the objection received from all the candidates within the stipulated time. After thorough reviewal, final answers for all questions will be prepared by the committee. On the basis of this, the final answer key will be prepared.

BPSC Assistant Town Planning Supervisor Final Answer Key
Once the objections are looked into and the final answers decided, the Commission will release the final answer key. Once this is released no more objections can be raised. The final result of the exam will be based on this answer key. The merit order will be determined by the marks obtained in the optional paper. If two or more candidates have the same mark, the older (based on date of birth) will be placed higher in the merit list. If this is also same, then the candidate whose name comes first according to Devnagri script will be placed higher in the order.

The General Knowledge paper and the optional papers will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks. Every correct answer will carry one mark. By comparing their answers with the answer key, the candidates can calculate the marks they have scored.
BPSC Assistant Town Planning Supervisor Cut Off 2022
Cut off marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for the next round of selection process. The cut off marks will be decided by the Commission and will depend on factors like number of vacancies, number of applicants, difficulty level of the paper etc. Names and registration number of candidates who score more than the cut off marks will be present in the shortlist.
The minimum qualifying marks for various categories are as follows:

- Other Backward Classes – 36.5%
- Extremely Backward Class – 34%
