A beneficiary receives a check rather than cash so that they can pick up the funds from the nearby bank in cash. When paying with a check, the transaction is recorded in the bank’s books. Writing a Cheque Book Request Letter

A letter requesting a chequebook serves as a formal request to your bank to give you a chequebook with the necessary amount of cheque leaves. There are chequebooks with 25 check leaves as the minimum and 100 check leaves as the maximum. When writing a letter requesting a cheque book, be sure to include the amount of cheque leaves you will need.

A formal letter format is used while writing a request letter for a chequebook. In order for your bank to issue the check book as soon as possible, make sure to enter your account number and other identifying information precisely.
