The online examinations for the post of Stenographer Grade D conducted by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will be held on 13th December 2020. This examination is to recruit 100 candidates for the vacant posts. However, the examination will be conducted in the designated exam centers at Delhi only. DDA Stenographer Grade D Exam Pattern 2020
1: Who was the first woman President of India?
Delhi Development Authority will conduct the recruitment of Grade D Stenographers in two stages. Stage 1 will be an online written test while stage 2 will be a stenography test. All the aspirants who clear stage one will be directed to the next stage, where he/she must undergo a stenography test. A pass in these two stages will qualify the candidate for the job position.
All the candidates must note that for every wrong answer in the stage 1 examination, there is negative marking. Further, as the merit list will be based on stage 1 examination, all the candidates must take care of this.

Since there are two different stages for the recruitment process, all the aspirants must know the syllabus of these stages clearly before appearing for the examination.

General Intelligence and Reasoning
In this section of the question paper, both verbal and non-verbal questions will be asked. Questions will include analogies, similarities and differences, problem solving, space visualization, judgement, analysis, decision making, visual memory, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, number series, non-verbal series, arithmetic computation, abstract ideas and symbols, etc.
General Awareness
The questions from this particular section will check the ability of the candidate’s general awareness. Various questions from current affairs, sports, history, culture, geography, economics, etc will be asked for the examination.
English Language & Comprehension
This section will check the candidates understanding of the English language, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and their usage, etc.
Stage 2 Syllabus
All the candidates who clear the stage 1 examination will attend the stage 2 examination. Here, the candidates will appear for a stenography test. Each candidate will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi, according to the medium chose at a speed of 80 w.p.m
However, the transcription time is as follows:
English medium: 50 minutes
Hindi medium: 65 minutes
All the candidates who have chosen for English Medium shall use “Times New Roman” font for transcription while the candidates who have opted Hindi medium shall use “Mangal” font for transcription.
