Role overview
- Support Global Projects by adapting HVDC cybersecurity for SCADA & HMI, develop architecture & functional descriptions for Functions / Solutions for future HVDC in cybersecurity technologies.
- Prepare & perform test case scenarios & participate in FST, support projects in resolving the issues related to Cyber security Functions.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders across the business units to get inputs to optimise the Cyber security solutions in HVDC.
- Design & develop a secure network architecture for the SCADA system with advanced cyber security features.
- Evaluate and strengthen the security of any connections to the SCADA network.
- Monitor and validate third-party security patches to ensure that the reliability of the system is maintained, and implement the security features provided by device and system vendors.
- Establish strong controls over any medium that is used as a backdoor into the SCADA network, and implement internal and external intrusion detection systems in the SCADA network.
- Perform technical audits of SCADA devices and networks, and any other connected networks, to identify security concerns.
- Conduct physical security surveys and assess all remote sites connected to the SCADA network to evaluate their security, and maintain the test environment with updated software and hardware for current and future use.
- Backup/ Image handling on servers and workstations and patch management.
- Will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer science/IT/ECE/EEE with a minimum knowledge in networking & protections.
- You must have knowledge & skills inNetworking, security, Anti-Virus.
- Basic knowledge on IEEE / IEC standards.
- Basic Knowledge on C/C++ and experience in SCADA projects will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge & Experience MS Office: Word, Excel.
- Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
